All through the Bible we see an old and new order existing side by side...Saul and David; Ishmael and Isaac; The Pharisees and Jesus. One order is worldly and cursed. The other is blessed and demonstrates God’s Glory. Like Esau, many are selling out their birthright for a bowl of worldly stew and want quick promotion without paying a price. God has a wilderness season for every saint who wants to carry and manifest His Glory. Jesus, David, Saul, Joseph, and the great patriarchs and prophets went through the wilderness process to become the new wine skins containing God’s Glory.
